Future Students

Admission

International student financial responsibility.

Students who require immigration assistance from WSU to acquire a student visa (F-1 or J-1) will need to provide proof of their financial ability to pay for the first year of studies including living expenses. This is a U.S. federal government requirement.

Certificate of Financial Responsibility and Estimated Expenses

See the Certificate of Financial Responsibility and Estimated Expenses for complete information and instructions.

There is a separate form for this with both undergraduate and graduate admission applications. The total of all expenses for fall and spring semester combined is the minimum amount that students need to prove (certify) for admission purposes.
