- May 1: Tuition deposits due. If you've been offered admission as a freshman or transfer student, your $200 tuition deposit will confirm your space at the University.
- Fraternity and sorority recruitment information disseminated. If you’ve been accepted to the University and have not received this information by the end of May, call the Office of Residence Life at 509-335-2611 or 509-335-RUSH.
June
- Attend Alive!, Washington State's premier undergraduate orientation program. Valuable information about getting the most from your educational experience, and your earliest opportunity to register for the class schedule you want.
- Summer Advantage A 4-week, 7-credit head start to help transition from high school to college. Build a solid foundation for your college career.
July
- Attend Alive!, Washington State's premier undergraduate orientation program. Valuable information about getting the most from your educational experience, and an opportunity to register for the class schedule you want.
August
- Washington State University's Convocation is on Friday, August 17, 2007.
- If you did not attend an Alive! session, attend Fall Orientation to register for classes, move into your dorm, learn the campus, and much more.
- Week of Welcome for all new students takes place in mid-month, before fall semester classes begin.
September
- Future Cougar Day in Pullman mixes an introduction to University academics with the excitement of Pac-10 football. Meet current faculty and students before the WSU vs. University of Idaho game, and more.
- Attend the events that are taking place in Seattle this year for WSU’s Future Cougar Day Seattle. Browse an academic fair, take in a night of Cougar Jazz, and come meet current faculty and students during this unique WSU opportunity.

- Admission notification process begins.

- The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available from high school and community college counselors, the Washington State University Office of Student Financial Aid, and www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- Spring Orientation. Get the best start by visiting campus before spring semester classes begin.
- January 31: Fall semester priority application date. Deadline for scholarship applications.
February
- Destination WSU. Accepted students receive an in-depth, personal introduction to the University's academic programs and resources. Register for your visit soon, space is limited.
March
- Transfer Student Registration Days and orientation.
- Destination WSU. Out-of-state accepted students receive an in-depth, personal introduction to the University's academic programs and resources.
April
- Preview for Juniors. High school juniors from around the region get a special introduction to living and learning at Washington State University .
- Housing information goes out to students accepted to the University. Your admission application date determines your priority for housing; returning the housing contract as soon as possible gives you a better chance of obtaining the living arrangements you prefer.
- Transfer Student Registration Days and orientation.
- Future Cougars of Color scholarship program. Complete your application for admission by the deadline to be eligible for this scholarship event. Then visit the University with other motivated students of color for a first-hand look at campus resources and academic programs while you participate.
