Alive! Summer Orientation

Where you'll stay.

  • Parents and students are housed in separate rooms and residence halls during the summer Alive! program.
  • Student participants must reside in the residence hall during the program and are assigned double occupancy rooms. Roommates are determined according to orientation counselor assignments. Special requests for roommate assignments cannot be accommodated.
  • Alcohol is not allowed in the residence halls.
  • Parents attending as a couple will be assigned a double occupancy room. Parents traveling alone will be assigned to a double occupancy room with another parent of the same gender, unless they request a single occupancy room on the reservation form. Please note the request on your reservation form and include the single room fee of $25.00 with your payment.
  • Sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels are all provided. We suggest that each person bring a bathrobe, slippers, and an alarm clock. (Check our complete list of what to bring.)
  • The on-campus living and dining experience is a critical component of the program for both parents and students. There will be no reduction in fees if parents choose to reside outside the residence hall during the program or eat meals off campus.
