Alive! Summer Orientation

What to bring with you.

Each participant (student and parent) should bring:

  • Picture ID (2 forms)
  • Documentation of any College Board AP exams
  • Measles immunization documentation (if you have not already mailed it in)
  • Pens and pencils for placement exams
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Casual clothing, lightweight jacket, umbrella
  • Alarm clock
  • Toiletry items
  • Bathrobe, slippers, shower shoes
  • Clothes hangers
  • Personal fan (residence hall rooms are not air conditioned)
  • Back pack
  • Bottled water
  • Extra spending money for bookstore, ice cream, etc.

Transfer students

If transferring from another college or university to Washington State University, please remember to bring a complete listing of prior course work and credit hours earned (include course title, course number, and number of credits for each course). If you've already received a transfer credit report from our Office of Admissions, please bring it with you.

All students participating in Alive! will need to attend the entire Alive! orientation program in order to register for classes at the end of the session.
