Transfer Registration Days

Reserve your spot.

Registration is closed

All new students (freshman and transfer) are required to attend an orientation program in order to be advised and register for fall semester classes.

There are two ways to complete a reservation for your orientation/registration session.

  1. Register online for an upcoming WSU Transfer Registration Days program. Please note, you'll need to pay your associated program fees with a Visa or Mastercard for online registration.
  2. Register by mail for Transfer Registration Days. Download and print the reservation form available on the website, complete, and mail in with a check, money order, or credit card information (Visa or Mastercard only).

If we can answer questions about the program, please e-mail us at orientation@wsu.edu, or call 509-335-4242, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (after 5:00 p.m. please leave a message).

Cost to attend

Student Matriculation Fee: $215.00
All new students will be assessed a one-time matriculation fee in their first semester of enrollment, in addition to tuition and mandatory fees. The matriculation fee covers services and programs for new students including orientation/registration programs (Alive, Transfer Registration Days, Spring Welcome), fall Week of Welome activities, and extended orientation events and university publications that students will receive during orientation and use while attending Washington State University.

Parent/Guest Fee: $70.00 (per guest)

Payment Options

  1. Pay Matriculation Fee online. Students, parents, and guests wishing to register online for Transfer Registration Days can do so by paying the matriculation fee and any parent/guest program fees with a Visa or Mastercard.
  2. Defer Matriculation Fee. Students, if you received the notification from the University that you are eligible for financial aid and your award exceeds the cost of tuition and fees, you may be able to use a portion of your fall semester award to pay your Matriculation Fee.  If you would like to defer payment of your matriculation fee, go to transfer-days.wsu.edu and download the reservation form from the website. Complete this form, checking your intention to defer payment until the fall semester, and mail it in. Your matriculation fee will be charged to your student account which you can pay at the beginning of the Fall semester. Parent/Guest reservation fees cannot be deferred to the students account and must be paid prior to attending the orientation program.
  3. Other Funding Options. The Office of New Student Programs has limited funds available for students who demonstrate financial need. To inquire about availability and eligibility for this funding, please call the Office of New Student Programs at 509-335-4242, or email us at orientation@wsu.edu.
