Transfer Registration Days

Arrival information.

You will most likely want to arrive in Pullman on Saturday evening since our program starts on Sunday morning.  Check in begins at 8:30 a.m. and the program begins promptly at 10:00 a.m.

Your first stop in Pullman should be the WSU Visitor Center, located on the corner of Davis Way and Grand Avenue. Here you can pick up a parking pass, map of campus, and directions to the Smith Center for Undergraduate Education (CUE) for check-in. The center will open at from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.  Their phone number is 509-335-8633.

Check-in for Transfer Registration Days is from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the CUE on Sunday. The first presentation begins promptly at 10:00 a.m.

You must check in and attend Sunday's workshops in order to register for your classes.

Coming to Pullman

By plane: The Pullman/Moscow Airport is two miles from campus. Horizon Air (Alaska Airlines) services the area. You can rent a car at the airport or request a taxi. Spokane International Airport is serviced by most airlines. You can take a shuttle van (Wheatland Express, 800-334-2207) to Pullman for a fee.

By bus: Bus transportation will be available free of charge from the Seattle area. The bus will depart at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, and return at 8:00 p.m. Monday. To reserve space on our bus send an email to callanan@wsu.edu or call Christa Callanan at 206-770-6061.

By car: Driving from Seattle is approximately five hours; from Spokane, one-and-one-half hours; and from Portland, six hours. Detailed directions.

Overnight accommodations

A limited number of rooms have been reserved at a discounted rate at the Holiday Inn Express in Pullman - call 509-334-4437, the  Cougar Land Motel - call 509-334-3535, the Quality Inn - call 332-0500, and at the American Travel-Inn Motel - call 509-334-3500.  When calling hotels please let them you are attending Transfer Registration Days. Special discount rates vary and space is limited.  Please make reservations two weeks prior to the program date. If you would like to reduce costs by sharing a room and be assigned a roommate please let the hotel know.

Be sure to make your reservation early. Many campus activities are held simultaneously, and space may be limited in Pullman-area lodging.

The University of Idaho is holding a major event the weekend of April 19th.  As a result space if very limited in Pullman and Moscow the night of the 19th.  Please consider staying in an outlying area and then driving to Pullman Sunday morning.  There will be ample space available in Pullman on the night of April 20th.
