An empowering community and leadership opportunities.
At Washington State University, faculty and friends help you face challenges with confidence. Faculty advisors guide you toward the best path to achieve your academic goals and bring your career ambitions within reach.

Great connections
To help you make both social and academic connections, Freshman Focus blends the two by coordinating course and residence assignments. Because you share two courses with neighbors, people you see in class are people you see "at home." It's much easier to start up a conversation, discuss a class assignment, or maybe just decide to go out for pizza. Freshman Focus helps you learn better and earn higher grades--and experience shows that it works.
The beauty of being part of a residential learning community is that your connections don't end with class. Your friends, mentors, resources and activities don't disappear after classes and on weekends, they stay right where you want them.
