There's nothing better than learning from someone who's been there, done that.

And still doing it—when you join Washington State University you’ll hear Professor Glenn Johnson announcing Cougar football and basketball games. He also brings to your classes insider knowledge from his tour of duty as a Sacramento news anchor.
Even better, he is the first educator inducted into the "Silver Circle" of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
But to the University’s communication students, Professor Johnson is known as someone who puts their interests first, whether in the classroom or in the TV studio.
Professor Johnson’s combination of professionalism and caring is a hallmark of the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication. It’s one of the factors that led the Radio Television News Directors Association to rank the University fourth in the nation for its preparation of students seeking careers in television news.
